Financial Reporting Accountant

The Company

Our client is an elite organisation who are expanding their Finance team. They are seeking to recruit a Financial Reporting Accountant to join their team.  They have an excellent and collaborative approach within the business.  

The Position

Joining a leading Finance team, this role will be responsible for the coordination of the financial reporting requirements of the division. This is a fast-paced, evolving position which has the potential to grow along with the business.  

The main duties of the role will include:

• Preparation of financial statements and monthly management accounts for a number of entities 
• Balance sheet reconciliation
• Consolidated financial reporting
• Budget preparation
• Forecasting
• Production of statutory accounts
• Preparation of management information
• Assist in coordination and management of the audit process
• Solvency II reporting 
• Process improvement
• Manage reporting deadlines throughout the Group

The role can be a mixture of office and remote working.  

The Person

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA etc.)
• Ideally Top 10 trained with large audit background 
• Insurance experience desireable 
• Advanced Excel
• Strong IT skills
• Excellent communicator
• Ability to implement process improvement
• Team player with the ability to deal with stakeholders across the business
