Our client is a global brand who are highly acquisitive. To facilitate future growth opportunities they are seeking a commercially minded Accountant to work in their International Finance team. This role will provide in depth analysis and business insights on the market and profitability analysis on potential areas of expansion.  It is a newly created position and will interact with Senior Managers across the global business.  

The Role – FP&A Accountant 

This role will be fast paced in supporting the Sales and Marketing teams and duties will include: 

• Performance based reporting
• Build and analyse profitability models 
• Detailed budgets and forecast for full year sales
• Preparation of weekly KPIs
• Report on margins, stocks and analysis of key product performance and underlying drivers
• Work closely with other departments and teams
• Capital expenditure projects
• Return on investment (ROI)
• Involved in decision making for the future of the business

Candidate Profile: 

• Qualified Accountant with relevant experience ideally in FMCG
• Good attention to detail
• Industry experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent excel and data analysis
• Proficiency in ERP advantageous
• A keen desire to learn
• Numerical and analytical
• Flexibility and ability to multi-task within tight deadlines
• Ability to work independently and use own initiative, as well as integrating with a team and adding value
