Group Accountant, Motor, Dublin
The Company:
Our client is seeking to appoint a Group Accountant in their Head Office based in Dublin to facilitate growth across their business. This is an ideal role suited to a recently qualified Accountant making their first post-qualification move into industry.
The Position:
The role will work closely with the Financial Director on fulfilling the overall Group Financial reporting requirements. Duties will include:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts
- Consolidation of monthly reports
- Group Board pack preparations
- Cashlflow
- Preparation of statutory accounts for subsidiary companies
- Financial statement preparation
- Liaising with internal and external auditors
- Assist in the preparation of annual group budgets and related reports
- Ongoing process improvement
- Assist in meeting external reporting requirements
- Participate in ad hoc projects as required
The role offers flexibility and a hybrid approach to working in the office and remotely.
The Person:
The role would suit a recently qualified Accountant seeking a move into a growing organisation.
- Must have strong IFRS knowledge and financial statement review
- Exposure to consolidation
- Strong IT skills essential- exposure to different accounts packages
- Excellent communication skills
- Demonstrable experience working to tight reporting deadlines
- Motivated and ambitious, with a ‘can-do’ attitude
