The Company

Our client is a growing organisation undergoing a restructure of their Finance team and they have a new requirement for a Group Accountant to manage their financial reporting requirements. Reporting to the Financial Controller this role will take ownership of the preparation of month end accounts for a number of entities across the group.  

The Position

Due to a recent acquisition they are implementing a new reporting model back to their parent company. This role will work alongside the FC to implement a group reporting pack.  

It will involve all aspects of finance including:  

• Prepare and consolidate financial accounts along with commentary to agreed deadlines
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Cashflow  
• External financial reporting
• Preparation of regulatory returns 
• Financial statement preparation
• Involvement in internal and external audit 
• Prepare ad-hoc month-end analysis requested by Management
• Involved in additional ad-hoc finance duties and projects as required

The Person:

• Qualified Accountant with excellent communication skills
• Strong IT skills, in particular advanced Excel
• Ability to work in fast-paced industry 
• Self-motivated
