Group Financial Accountant - Hybrid working, Dublin 24

Reporting to the Group Reporting Manager the  Group Accountant will play an integral role within the groups finance team and gain exposure to all financial accounting matters relating to the group. As the successful candidate you will also gain exposure to acquisition due diligence reviews and subsequent post-acquisition integration.

This is the ideal role for a highly motivated recently qualified accountant to progress their career reporting directly into a high achieving Group Financial Controller.

Responsibilities:

• Preparation of annual statutory accounts for several entities
• Preparation of multi-currency Group Consolidated accounts
• Liaise with internal and external auditors.
• Research and support technical accounting queries as required
• Tax compliance, returns, planning and restructuring.
• Carry out acquisition due diligence reviews
• Support the integration of newly acquired entities into the Group structure
• Ad hoc and continuous improvement projects as they arise.

Requirements

• Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
• Big 4 / Top 10 Trained is a distinct advantage.
• Advanced excel skills
• Experience auditing/preparing multicurrency consolidation is a distinct advantage
• Strong academic record
