Client Profile: Major Civil Engineering Group, Kildare

Our client is a high profile global civil engineering and construction group with a significant presence in Ireland. They have experienced exceptional growth over the last number of years and have been responsible for delivery of some of Irelands highest profile projects. They are seeking to recruit and experienced senior finance professional to join their leadership team and take ownership for Reporting and FP&A.

Head of Reporting

Reporting at Director level, the role will involve:

• Managing preparation of consolidated financial statements
• Leading and developing the FP&A function
• Supporting the Financial Director
• Co-ordinate annual budget & quarterly forecasts
• Ownership for all aspects of Internal Controls, Compliance and Balance Sheet reviews
• Ensure corporate accounting standards & statutory controls are adhered to
• Identify opportunities for continuous development & improvement of financial systems
• Ensure compliance with all taxation obligations.
• Presentations to the senior management team
• Motivate and development of finance team
• Prepare business cases to support strategic and investment decisions
• Analyse competitor and market financial information to support decision making

Candidate Requirements:

• Qualified Accountant with a number of years post qualification experience at a senior level within large engineering or construction organisation
• Capable of result delivery to tight deadlines
• The must have excellent technical accounting experience and be comfortable interacting at senior leadership team level.

Remuneration Package
