Client Profile

Our client is a long-established accountancy firm based in South Dublin. They have a varied base of clients across a number of industry sectors. They provide clients with business advice and accountancy services acting as their outsourced accountancy function. This is a progressive firm whose Partners are keen to constantly develop the practice. The firm offers excellent work/life balance, friendly environment, and a competitive salary. 

Role: Accounting Manager

They wish to hire an experienced Accountant to take responsibility for managing and developing their Financial and Management accountancy service to clients. Reporting to the Partners, this will involve:

• Leading and managing a team of Accounting Technicians and Part Qualified Accountants
• Managing departmental fee billing, allocation of resources, and profitability per client
• Overseeing the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual accounts
• Assisting clients with budgeting and planning
• Advising clients on accounting systems and controls
• Constantly reviewing the processes within the Bureau Accounting department to achieve best practice and efficiencies

Candidate Profile

Candidate should be a Qualified Accountant with a number of years' PQE. They should have excellent interpersonal skills and they will have lots of interaction with multiple clients, Partners of the firm, and their own team. Strong experience in Excel and various accounting packages is desirable.

Role offers an excellent opportunity to progress to Partner level within the firm.  Ideally suited to an experienced Accountant looking to stay in a client facing role without any audit.
