Client Profile 

Our client is a leading firm with a wide service offering. They are undergoing a restructure in finance and have a new requirement to recruit a recently qualified Accountant into a broad role in a close-knit Finance team. The role is varied and will give excellent exposure with a chance to progress.  

Role: Financial Accountant 

The Financial Accountant will work closely with the Financial Controller across all areas of finance. Specific areas of responsibility include:

• Month-end reporting
• Preparation of monthly management accounts
• Reconciliations 
• Fixed Asset Register maintenance 
• Oversight of debtors and creditors 
• KPI analysis
• Client bank account management 
• Analysis and provision of key information to management
• Day to day involvement with the running of the Finance team
• Process and procedure review and improvement

Candidate Profile:

• Recently qualified Accountant 
• Excellent analytical skills
• Results orientated
• Excellent technical abilities
• Strong financial acumen and the ability to perform a hands-on role
• Excellent communication, customer care, and people management skills
• Excellent planning, organisational, and leadership skills
