Our client is a well-established FMCG organisation who are a household name across Ireland. As a result of new business growth, they are now looking for a recently qualified accountant to join their finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to commence a career in industry and gain experience across all aspects of finance.

Role Responsibilities:

• Preparation of Monthly Management Accounts (Full P&L and Balance Sheet) 
• Month-end journals, accruals, bank and retailer discount reconciliations 
• Review of debtor and creditor ledgers
• Profit and Loss variance analysis
• Review of daily and weekly KPI manufacturing yield calculations
• Reporting of weekly labour costs calculation
• Calculation of weekly sales value and estimated weekly profitability
• Preparation of annual budget and liaison with internal departments
• Profitability analysis and manage product costing data
• Point of contact for external auditors to ensure completion of annual audit
• VAT returns - completion and submission
• Ad hoc reporting as required

Candidate Requirements:

• Newly Qualified Accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA)
• Minimum 3 years experience in an accounts department with strong technical accounting skills
• Must be commercially aware and self-motivated
• Proficient in excel, word and accounting packages and experience with MS Dynamics an advantage 
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy essential
• Ability to work to deadlines
• Strong communication skills and fluency in English is also essential
