Our client is a high-profile accountancy firm based in Co Roscommon. As a medium sized firm, they support clients in the SME, professional, and high net worth sectors. They provide each client with support on accounts preparation, taxation, and general business advice. Position: Part-Qualified Accountant 

Due to expansion within their business, they wish to add a Part-Qualified Accountant to their team. Reporting to the Partners, the role will involve in providing the firm’s clients support on a range of activities including: 

• Handling year-end accounts preparation assignments to review stage
• Small company audit
• Personal and corporate tax returns
• Management accounts
• Assisting partners on consultancy and project assignments 

The role is challenging, and the existing Partners are keen to recruit a candidate who can contribute to the development of their firm. 

Candidate Profile:

Ideal candidate should have at least a year’s experience within an accountancy practice and a focus on developing a long term career in practice. Client will consider a Qualified Accounting Technician who wants to pursue an accountancy qualification.  

Additionally, they should be able to prepare year-end accounts to Partner review stage and be capable of working on their own initiative. In addition to an excellent remuneration, the role offers excellent “upward” career development opportunities.
