Our client is a charity based in Dublin, they are seeking to appoint someone into their finance team to support their payroll function and assist with other areas in finance. It is a newly created position due to growth in their team. 1-2 days based in the City Centre.
Responsibilities will include:
- Take ownership for a number of payrolls within the organisation
- Liaise with external payroll processing bureau
- Set up employees on time and attendance system
- Payroll administration
- Manage expenses and expense reporting to Revenue
- Reconciliations
- Month end reporting
- Dealing with employees on payroll queries
- Journal postings
- Statutory returns
- Complete other tasks and administrative duties as requested
- Involvement in year end
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience of processing payroll
- IPASS or studying towards qualification desireable
- Relevant experience in a busy finance function
- Excellent communication skills – fully fluent written and spoken English essential
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and finance / payroll packages
- Ability to prioritise and to work to deadlines
- Strong organisational skills and efficiency with excellent attention to detail
