Our Client: Leading Professional Services Firm, Kilkenny 

Our client is an award-winning professional services firm in Kilkenny. Their business is experiencing a period of rapid expansion in terms of revenue and market share. They are currently seeking a Payroll Specialist to join their payroll services team. Working closely with the Payroll Management team this role will offer the successful candidate an opportunity to build and develop their career in a fast paced  outsourced payroll services function, in a business offering excellent career opportunities.  

The Role: Payroll Specialist 

Main responsibilities will include:

• Process payrolls from inception to completion for a range of clients across all industry sectors.
• Manage relationships for own portfolio of payroll clients
• Briefing clients in relation to payroll and Revenue legislation obligations
• Support and assist in the development of junior team members
• Take responsibility for ensuring clients meet their compliance obligations.
• Continuous improvement – support initiatives to improve processes
• Manage own portfolio of clients 

Ideal Candidate 

Candidates should have a number of years experience preparing payrolls from inception to completion. As this is a client facing role, they should be comfortable in assisting multiple clients on an ongoing basis. Additionally, they should have a supportive and collaborative support approach with junior staff. Candidates should have excellent communication skills with the ability to interact comfortably with partners, clients and staff. This role is an excellent position for a candidate who is passionate about developing their career in a payroll environment.
