Our client is a provider of specialist services with a weekly payroll of approximately 2,000. They are seeking to appoint a Payroll Specialist to work within the team and provide payroll related reports. 

The Role:

This is a key role working as part of a Payroll team and dealing wtih  employee queries. Duties will include:

  • Collate payroll information and process within deadlines for payment 
  • Ensure accurate infomormation is recorded for client billing on a weekly basis 
  • Posting journals
  • Providing payroll reports 
  • Dealing with queries 
  • On-going analysis of all payroll functions with a focus on continuous improvement

The Ideal Candidate:

  • 3 years+ high volume payroll experience
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong customer service ethos
  • An ability to work well as part of a team and in a management capacity
  • A high level of accuracy and attention to detail, with good problem-solving skills
  • Excellent organizational skills with a proven record in managing strict deadlines
  • Experience of various payroll packages
