Assistant Accountant – Professional Services
The Company
Our client is an elite and growing organisation who has seen a lot of expansion over the last 12 month with further plans to scale the business in the remainder of 2022. They have a new requirement to recruit an ambitious Part-Qualified Accountant. It is a great opportunity to join a growing organisation in a broad role in all areas of finance working in a small Finance team.
The Position
Reporting to the Head of Finance and working closely to support the Senior Accountant, this role will offer interaction with the Senior Leadership team from an early stage. Joining a close knit team, some of the duties include:
- Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts
- Assist with preparation and monitoring of annual budget
- Commercial analysis and reporting on KPIs
- Drive process improvement and efficiency
- Monitoring costs and variance analysis
- Monthly reconciliations across the Group
- Monitoring financial performance
- Managing bank accounts and cashflow forecasting
- Assist with audit process
- Tax and statutory reporting
- Managing financial system
The Person
- Part-Qualified Accountant, with broad experience
- Ability to work in hands on function
- Excellent analytical skills, with strong IT skills essential
- Deadline orientated, with the ability to work to multiple tight deadlines
- Strong communicator
- Excellent attention to detail
