Assistant Accountant – Property
Our client operates within the commercial property space. They are seeking to recruit an Assistant or Part Qualified Accountant to support the FM across all areas in finance.
The Position
Reporting to the Finance Manager and joining a close knit team, some of the duties include:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts
- Assist with preparation and monitoring of annual budget
- Commercial analysis and reporting on KPIs
- Drive process improvement and efficiency
- Monitoring costs and variance analysis
- Monthly reconciliations across the Group
- Monitoring financial performance
- Managing bank accounts and cashflow forecasting
- Assist with audit process
- Tax and statutory reporting
- Managing financial system
The Person:
- Part Qualified Accountant, with broad experience
- Experience in preparation of management accounts to trial balance stage
- Ability to work in hands on function
- Excellent analytical skills, with strong IT skills essential
- Deadline orientated, with the ability to work to multiple tight deadlines
- Strong communicator
- Excellent attention to detail
