Client Profile 

Our client is a growing retail group with a Head Office based in Dublin North. They are expanding rapidly and to coincide with this growth they are seeking to appoint an Assistant Accountant to support their current Finance team. 

Role: PQ Accountant   

The role is varied giving exposure to all aspects of a busy and dynamic finance function with a lot of analysis in an evolving company. Specific areas of responsibility include:

• Assisting with monthly management accounts production
• Managing debtors ledger 
• Sales analysis
• Preparing daily KPI reports to the Management team
• Balance sheet management 
• Accruals and prepayments 
• Assisting with statutory accounts and audit
• Statutory returns
• Ad-hoc duties

Candidate Profile:

• Ideally working towards finance qualification
• 2 years within a general finance role, retail experience beneficial
• Results orientated
• Payroll experience beneficial
• Ability to communicate at a high level
• Proven track record in introducing process improvements
• Excellent technical abilities
• Strong financial acumen and the ability to perform a hands-on role
• Excellent communication, customer care, and people management skills
• Excellent planning, organisational, and leadership skills
• Strong IT and Excel experience
