Client Profile
Our Client is an established household name in the retail sector.  This organisation has undergone a period of significant growth and expansion, adapting their model to capture a wider market share.  Due to continued and forecasted growth they are seeking to appoint a part qualified accountant in a varied role. 

The Role: Part Qualified Accountant 

This role is a general role within a dynamic finance function of a growing retail organisation.  The culture is high energy and fast paced.  This role reports to the Finance Director and has a lot of cross functional working and a commercial element to the role.  Some of the duties involve

• Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts with analysis of results and commentary
• Detailed financial analysis on performance by store, department, product and overheads
• Preparation of key metrics and automating reporting process
• Budgeting, forecasting and cashflow
• Manage balance sheet
• Management of overheads and cost control
• Preparation and filing of statutory accounts and other statutory returns
• Ad-hoc projects including potential acquisitions and diversification of the buisiness 

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will have the following skills or experiences:

• Relevant experience in a broad role in a finance team
• Highly analytical
• Ability to work to tight deadlines
• Strong IT skills
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and strong communicator
• Self-motivating and able to work on own initiative
