Client Profile: Accountancy Practice, Kilkenny

Our client is a large accounting firm based in Kilkenny. They have a  varied base of clients across a number of industry sectors. They provide their clients with business advice across audit and tax and general consulting. This is a progressive firm whose partners are keen to further develop the practice.   

Role: Assistant Manager

Due to expansion within their business, they wish to recruit an Accountant with a number of years experience in Practice to join the firm. Reporting to their Partner this is a very active client-facing role offering the successful candidate exposure to a broad selection of small and medium-sized clients.

This role will include:

• Handling Year End Accounts Preparation assignments to the client meeting stage
• Personal and corporate tax returns
• Managing and reviewing assignments handled by staff
• Managing and scheduling assignments
• Full involvement in running the practice

Candidate Profile

Our client is looking for an ambitious and driven experienced accountant with a number of years PQE in a similar role. The successful candidate should have qualified with a quality accounting firm and have a focus on developing a long-term career in Practice. They should have the interpersonal skills necessary to interact with clients and manage their own team.

Remuneration Package

As this is a No2 role within a quality organisation, the remuneration package will reflect the importance of the position and in addition to a good salary will include a results-driven bonus structure.  Additionally, there are excellent “upward progression” opportunities within the firm.
