Our client is a long established firm based in Louth. They have a varied base of clients across a number of industry sectors. They provide their clients with business advice across Audit, Tax, Advisory and general accounts preparation. This is a progressive firm whose Partners are keen to further develop the practice. Role: Practice Manager

They are seeking to recruit an Audit Manager to strengthen their firm. Reporting to the Partners, the role will be focused on managing the relationship between the firm and its key clients and seek to attract new clients to the firm. This role will include:

• Managing and Planning audit, audit exempt and project assignments
• Receive the P&L and Balance Sheet from the client and prepare the financial statements accordingly
• Working with existing clients to develop new business opportunities
• Reviewing Annual Accounts
• Assisting with Tax compliance - Income & Corporate
• Provide high-level technical support to key clients
• Identify and market additional service offerings to existing clients
• Mentoring and instructing junior staff 
• Responsible for working to deadlines and within budgets on each assignment

The role is challenging and will allow the candidate to become involved in providing solid and interesting business solutions. The existing Partners are keen to recruit a candidate who can contribute to the development of their firm.

Key Experience:

• ACA/ACCA/CPA qualified
• Confident and articulate – comfortable both dealing with clients and managing junior staff
• Good technical knowledge of auditing and accounting standards
• Motivated and capable of working independently
