Our client is a long-established accountancy firm based in Monaghan. They have a varied base of clients across a number of industry sectors. They provide their clients with business advice across audit, accounts preparation, taxation, and advisory. This is a progressive firm whose Partners are keen to further develop the practice. The firm offers excellent work/life balance, friendly environment and a competitive salary.

Position: Practice Manager

They are interested in recruiting a qualified accountant to work as No. 2 to the Partner to assist in managing the practice. This will involve managing the existing team and taking ownership of a portfolio of clients. This pro-active role will involve extensive client contact with an emphasis on providing an overall service to each client and also developing the range of business services within the firm. This role will include:

• Managing Portfolio of clients
• Providing general business advice
• Extensive interaction with clients
• Scheduling assignments and managing staff

The existing Partners are keen to recruit a candidate who can contribute to the development of their firm.

Candidate Profile:

• Candidates should have a number of year’s experience at Manager or Assistant Manager level within a quality practice
• Good client skills
• Self-starter
