Our client is a global leader in their field with turnover of over 1 billion across the globe and a very well known customer base. Due to continued growth, they are expanding their Finance team and have created a new role to support the Financial Controller on managing a large part of their revenue stream. 

It is a fast paced and busy team offering the chance to progress for the right candidate. The role will support across a number of areas in the team, including taking ownership for their royalty collection and processing in a global remit.  

Responsibilities:

• Processing Invoices 
• Setting up new customers across a number of platforms 
• Reconciliations 
• Managing Tax filings 
• Assisting in process improvement
• Working with journals, sales, and purchases ledgers
• Monthly close activities 
• Other ad-hoc duties as required

The Ideal Candidate:

• Experience in a busy finance role
• Experience of working in a large global organisation 
• Strong bank reconciliations experience
• Excellent Excel skills 
• Strong communications skills – both written and verbal
• High level of numerical accuracy with excellent attention to detail
• Team player
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Self-motivated and enthusiastic with the ability to take ownership of your role
• Excellent organisation and time management skills with the ability to prioritise workload and work to deadlines
