Financial Accountant, Distribution, Dublin West 

The Company:

Our client is a Leading Irish Distribution Company who have experienced recent growth and have further plans to expand over the next 12 months.  They have a permanent vacancy for an ambitious qualified accountant to join their growing finance team. This is a varied role working closely with the Finance Director with scope to progress into financial controller role in time.

Excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to join a successful business at an exciting growth stage and impact on the company’s financial process, systems and reporting.

The Position:

• Manage the financial month-end close process
• Assisting with preparation of annual budgets
• Preparation of year-end accounts and liaising with external auditors
• Process Weekly / Monthly Payroll
• Improve current accounting procedures and processes, participate and lead process improvement initiatives
• Perform forecasts financial modelling for working capital and future cash flow needs for the business
• Design and reporting KPI’s

This is an excellent step for someone seeking to join an organisation with a promotion track to Financial Controller. 

The Person:

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role
• Strong experience with various ERP systems/ accounting packages
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong commercial Acumen
