The Company: Film and Television Production and Finance

Our client is the Irish office of a high profile accountancy firm providing accounts preparation, audit and taxation advice for International film and production companies based in Ireland. The Irish Film & TV sector is experiencing phenomenal growth and our client anticipates doubling its staff numbers over the coming year.

The Position: Senior Accountant

The role will involve the delivery of quality accounts preparation and auditing services for high profile clients within the Film and TV sector. Duties will involve:

• Work on a range of accounts preparation and auditing assignments, coordinating and taking responsibility for planning, execution and completion.
• Work on ad-hoc assignments and projects.
• Development and support junior staff.
• Ongoing interaction with client management to deliver accounting information within defined deadlines.
• Present reports to management on issues identified during assignments.
• Report directly to firm partners, directors and managers, working towards the achievement of individual firm goals and targets.
• Liaise with other professional departments including Tax, Audit and Corporate Compliance.

This pro-active role will involve extensive client contact with an emphasis on providing an overall service to each client and also developing the range of business services within the firm. 

Candidate Profile 

• Candidates should have qualified within a quality accountancy firm level within a quality practice, with good accounts preparation
• excellent client-facing skills
• Self-starter
