Our client is a long-established firm based in Dublin. They have a varied base of clients across a number of industry sectors. They provide their clients with business advice across audit, tax and general accounts preparation. This is a progressive firm whose partners are keen to further develop the practice. Our client is seeking a Senior Accountant who can work on their own initiative and manage a portfolio of clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering projects on time, within budget and of high quality.

Key responsibilities:

• Preparation of Soletrader, Partnership and Income & Expenditure Accounts.
• Preparation of Limited entity companies to meet compliance standards.
• Preparation Income Tax and Corporation Tax Returns.
• Working with management to develop new business opportunities.
• Manage a portfolio of clients, requesting records, discussing deadline dates, client queries etc.
• Responsibility for assisting junior staff and reporting to the partners.

Key experience:

• Qualified Accountant
• A number of years experience within a practice environment.
• Experience in working in a fast-paced environment and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Working knowledge of Sage Accounts Production & Sage 50.
