Our client is an elite membership based organisation, they are seeking to restructure the finance team and have a new requirement for a Senior Accountant who will report to the Finance Manager.  The ideal candidate will be highly efficient, with an ability to mentor and suppot in developing the finance team and have excellent attention to detail.  

Located in South Dublin with a strong hybrid model of 2 days in the office and 3 days remote working, this is an exciting opportunity for someone eager to be part of a forward-thinking and evolving organization.

Role Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the preparation of monthly management accounts 
• Mentor and develop finance team
• Preparation of Month End Journals
• Ovesight of AP / AR 
• Balance Sheet account reconciliations monthly
• Tax returns 
• Quarterly CSO Returns 
• Internal and external audit management 
• Maintaining accounting system with IT partner
• Ad-hoc duties as requested

 Qualifications and experience:

• Qualified accountant with 3 years PQE 
• Strong knowledge and understanding of accounting principles and practices
• Team management experience
• Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy with exceptional organisational skills 
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills at all levels
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience with ERP systems is a plus
