Our Client: Leading Professional Services Firm, Kilkenny 

Our client is an award-winning professional services firm in Kilkenny. Their business is experiencing a period of rapid expansion in terms of both revenue and market share. They are currently seeking a Senior Payroll Manager to join their payroll services team. Working closely with the Head of HR & Payroll services and the wider leadership team this role will offer the successful candidate an opportunity to build and expand the outsourced payroll services function within the business. 

The Role: Senior Payroll Manager 

Main responsibilities will include:

• Oversee the delivery of payroll services to a large base of clients across all industry sectors.
• Manage relationships with clients and internal managers within the business
• Briefing clients in relation to corporate, legislative, and procedural queries
• Oversee and develop a team of payroll managers and specialists to manage a large portfolio of clients and take responsibility for ensuring clients meet their compliance obligations.
• Continuous improvement – play a key role in process and technology improvements
• Support budgeting, planning and business development within the payroll function
• Manage own portfolio of clients
• Manage fee and cost budgets and participate in marketing and management decisions 

Ideal Candidate 

This is a senior management management position and will allow the successful candidate an opportunity to assist with the development of the payroll function.  The successful candidate should have a number of years experience within a senior payroll position, preferably within a client facing payroll outsourcing environment. Candidate should have excellent communication skills with the ability to interact comfortably with partners, clients and staff.
