Statutory Accountant, Multinational, Cork
Our client is a leading US multinational based in Cork with an expanding Finance team.
The Position
This role will sit on the Statutory team who are responsible for the completion of all external reporting for a number of entities. This role will be responsible for managing the external audit. Duties will include:
- Preparation of audit files, interim and annual
- Statutory accounts production
- Lead reporting process
- Perform pre-audit testing
- Manage relationship with external auditors
- Compliance of all statutory reporting
- Review financial statements
- Monthly reporting
- Special projects
The Person
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA etc.)
- Previous audit experience within Top 20 firm
- 2+ years PQE
- Experience of US GAAP and IFRS
- Ability to work with internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent interpersonal skills
