Client Profile: Expanding Medium Practice - Cork

Our client is a progressive Accountancy firm based in Cork. Their client base comprises mainly of quality indigenous companies, international multinationals and high net worth individuals. They have a strong business ethos with a focus on providing each client with a superior business service. In addition to the traditional accounting & audit assignments, they provide their clients with Tax and business consulting solutions.

Role: Tax Manager

Due to expansion within their business, they wish to add a Tax Manager to their team. This pro-active role will involve extensive client contact with an emphasis on providing excellent service and developing the range of business service to each client.

The candidate will have their own portfolio of clients and the role will involve:

• Tax advice to clients across all tax headings
• Identifying and managing planning & consulting issues
• Working with clients in various business sectors to develop new business opportunities
• Advice regarding business Acquisitions & disposals
• Capital Taxes
• Retirement Planning
• Extensive interaction with clients.
• Staff supervision and development
• Non Routine Tax Assignments

The role is challenging and will allow the candidate to become involved in providing solid Taxation solutions. 

Candidate Profile

• Candidates should have a number of year’s experience at the Manager or Assistant Manager level within a quality Tax practice or department.
• Candidate should have experience across all tax headings
• Either Accounting or Tax Qualification
• Excellent client relationship skills
• Self-starter
