Client Profile: Large Accountancy Practice - Waterford

Our client is one of the largest non Big 4 firms in Munster. They employ in excess of 40 staff. They are regarded as leading business advisors in the area of taxation, corporate finance, and business advice. Their client case includes major indigenous companies, growing SMEs and a range of professionals and high-net-worth clients.  

Role - Tax Senior

They are seeking an experienced Tax Senior who will join their existing Tax team. Working closely with their Tax Partner,  the role will be varied and the successful candidate will be expected to assist clients (both corporate and personal) across the broad spectrum of taxes. This will include:

• Managing own portfolio of clients both corporate and personal
• Providing solutions across all the major tax headings
• Identifying tax consultancy opportunities for clients
• Supporting junior staff within the Tax department
• Preparation of Corporation and Income tax computations
• Working with Tax Partner on consultancy assignments
• Advising clients on personal tax issues
• Managing client meetings
• Conducting tax research on technical points
• Working with clients across all business sectors to develop new business opportunities 
• Advising high-net-worth clients regarding business and investment matters

 Candidate Profile 

• Candidates should preferably be a qualified AITI or have an accountancy qualification
• A number of year’s experience within the Tax department of a quality practice
